AeroGen Wind Generators
Aerogen wind generators are for charging 12 and 24 volt lead acid and nickel
cadmium batteries when mains power is either not available or not
suitable. The power generated is directly related to wind speed
and the energy is converted into electricity.
Once purchased, the
power is free and the uses are many on land and sea, both for regular
and emergency use.
Flat batteries are at the very least an inconvenience and at worse, a disaster if safety, or essential equipment is without power. Furthermore, the time and cost of charging and replacing them can be substantial. Constantly run down batteries have short lives and an engine idling to charge them suffers much wear and tear. Aerogens can help avoid problems, reduce costs and provide the power to make life more enjoyable and safer.
Aerogen wind generators are BIG in performance, sturdy and robust yet compact and lightweight. They incorporate computer aided design features based on over 27 years experience and manufacture.
The models available cover the needs of weekend, cruising and live-aboard yachtsmen, and many other professional and leisure uses. In worldwide use they have proved their reliability on ocean crossing yachts, and for professional uses in Arctic, mountain, desert and tropical regions. They are used by military forces, research institutes and universities worldwide.
Powerful Performance Designed for all Wind Speeds
The optimum wind speed is between 5 and 20 knots. Aerogens are designed to operate efficiently in this range, starting to charge at 5 knots. Equally, they take advantage of higher wind speeds to produce higher outputs continuously and safely, even in storm force winds.

AquaGen Water Towed Generators
Aquagens are water towed generators suitable for all sailboats and sailing speeds in blue and coastal waters. They can provide sufficient power to satisfy all power requirements whilst under sail. The towed turbine travels 1-3 metres below the surface and can therefore be used in shallow coastal waters as well as on ocean crossings. Two models are available:
