New friction hinges are used to support the lid without a friction lever on sizes 00 to 41. On all sizes they reduce the free fall on the lid once it is opened past 95°.
Improved Friction Levers
Improved friction lever performance has resulted in fewer friction levers being required on larger hatches to hold the lid open, increasing visibility through the hatch.
Restyled Handles
The outside handles are lower profile and restyled.
Flush Hinge
Hinges flush with upper frame.
Improved Lower Frame Design
Improved stronger lower frame design with higher breakwater. The cut out in the deck is to Lewmar's standard sizes.
